- Lead Generation and Prospecting: The salesperson should know how to find new leads and develop a strong pipeline of potential clients. This involves using networking, referrals, and online marketing tools.
- Understanding of Bookkeeping and Accounting: The salesperson should have a good grasp of bookkeeping processes, financial terminology, and accounting principles. This helps in effectively communicating with potential clients and explaining the value of services.

Experience: 3+ years of experience in U.S. B2B Sales.

Education: MBA in Marketing, B.com with 3+ years of U.S. B2B Sales Experience.

- Building Long-Term Relationships: In the bookkeeping industry, retaining clients over time is key. A salesperson should know how to maintain relationships even after the sale is made, ensuring repeat business
- Customer Service Focus: It’s important to have someone who listens to clients’ concerns and provides personalized service, addressing their unique bookkeeping needs.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Bookkeeping can involve complex situations, so a salesperson should be able to assess clients' needs and find the most suitable solution from the offerings.
- Smooth Handoff to Implementation Team: After the sale, ensure a seamless handoff of the client to the implementation or bookkeeping team and this could involve providing them with essential client information and service preferences.
- Client Education: Educate new clients about how the company’s bookkeeping processes work and what is expected of them. This helps set clear expectations and reduces future confusion.
- Setting Up Software: If relevant, help clients with the initial setup of accounting software, training, and ongoing support for their bookkeeping needs.
